Julia came to the Arns Photography studio for promotional photographs she could use in advertising and publicizing her belly-dancing studio, TribalTique. TribalTique instructs belly dancing of the American Tribal style, and Julia co-founded the school in 2004. The photos below show Julia in two of her performance costumes.
Julia returned to the Arns Photography studio for more promotional photographs she could use in advertising and publicizing the studio, and this time she brought one of her co-instructors, Molly (see also photos of Molly by herself).
Julia and Molly also wanted photos of a new part of their performance: the Cabaret act. Here are some of those shots.
The main goal for this shoot was to take pictures in the style of Alphonse Mucha, a nineteenth- and twentieth-century Czech painter and illustrator who popularized the Art Nouveau style. Most of the images below are in the Mucha style (featuring Julia's new full-back tattoo), but there are also some belly-dancing, cabaret, and samba shots as well.
